| Never seen mini tulips but they sound interesting! Several yrs ago we had some green wave parrot tulips that only bloomed that year and never came up again...they were a pretty green with pink but like so many bulbs don't seem to do well in this soil. | |

| I believe mini tulips are called Greggii (or something like that). They generally only grow about 6 inches tall. They are usually early bloomers. I've planted them in the past, but don't have many coming up any more. Either bugs have gotten the bulbs or some other rodents. | |

| My tulip problems always begin with the deer, but I thought I might try some in the Lattice Room garden. The fence is 6' all the way around...I've only noticed them go in, when someone has left the gate open. There are several verieties these days so I'm not sure of names. Guess I'll go look some up now....LOL....those arn't for spring planting. | |
