Stained Glass

Friends from MCP will remember my work kindly I hope. Regretably this summer was not good healthwise and I hadn't been able to get into the shop for months. Happily I feel 100% better and have 3 stained glass works in progress. What I want to offer now are my popular hummingbird. If you recall they are about 7" by 7". I offer these in your choice of colors (3) for $40 including S&H. Depending on the color choices I promise shipment with-in 3 days at the moment. I still am making hummingbirds with flowers, dragons and working on a new cat pattern but I can't promise a Christmas delivery. I am very grateful to have a reason to get back to my glass and maybe pay some bills.

First off I don't want anyone feeling sorry or praying for me. A few weeks ago I was sitting at the compute and stretched and some how pinched a nerve in my neck. Go figure. Anyway I've seen my doctors and they said this along with the sciatica it's time to have the back surgery I've been putting off. Fortunatly I'm getting the painkillers I now need everyday but it still doesn't bring back the feeling I've lost in part of my right hand.
Sadly I do not have the control I need for the stained glass but I'm very happy I can still get things done in the garden I want. And we may actually have a good Summer to boot.
So I'll have to go through a bunch of hassles because it's complicated but I hope to have the surgery done by Fall and be back to the glass.

Sorry to hear that. Surgery is never good, but if it will help, I hope all goes well.

I've been spending most of my time making doctor appointments, picking my dad up and transporting him to all kinds of doctor appointments ever since his jaw bone cancer was diagnosed in Feb. Since we opted not to have the very extensive surgery, we've been meeting with all kinds of oncologists, radiologists, etc, but we're down to the wire now and radiation and chemo should start on June 7 for 6 weeks (5 days/week). Looks like my gardening time this year will be limited but I'm still trying to get out there when I can.

On the brighter side, I'm enjoying spending all this time with my dad and reminiscing about old times, just not crazy about the circumstances.
